Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Atkinson) Heimer. Don was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He loved gardening and making birdhouses which were regularly given to family and friends. Wimp?s generosity, work ethic, humility, and selflessness are all qualities that our family continuously aspires to mimic within our lives. Surviving along with his wife are three sons Donald, Dennis, and Drew Heimer; six grandchildren; and one sister Nancy Jenkins of Honeybrook.
